How to reach Madrid

By plane

Madrid Barajas-Adolfo Suárez Airport is easily connected with the city center by public transport:

> Underground (metro) to anywhere, from Airport paying a supplement of 3€. See the underground maps here.

> Bus to Avenida de América Transport Interchange, 1.50 €, line 200 (from T3, T2, T1).

 > Express bus from T4, T2, T1 to Atocha in 40 min maximum, 5€. See the timetables here. Madrid Metro and Bus have an agreement, you can buy a 10 ticket pass called Metrobus by 12.20€. You can buy it in Metro stations.

> Train (cercanías) from T4 to either Chamartin, Atocha or Príncipe Pío station, 2.60€, in about 40 minutes.

> Taxis are available at the exit as well (20-30€). Uber and Cabify are also possible.

By train

High-speed trains arrive to Atocha-Renfe train station; other trains arrive to Chamartín station. Both are located in the center and connected by metro, bus or taxi.

By bus

Madrid has two bus stations (Avenida de América and Méndez Álvaro) not far from the center and connected by metro, bus or taxi.

Parental care facilities that we are foreseen are the following:

> Provide an area friendly for breastfeeding
> Adapt the toilet with a diaper change area
> Provide in this web site practical information about places and activities in Madrid city for families with babies or young children.
> Provide and Accompanying Pearson  fee of 60 euros (that covers lunch and coffee breaks)
> Organize a small corner in the congress building with books, and material (paper, paints, plays) where babies , children and their accompanying persons can stay (it is thought for times of waiting, since material will be not enough to keep the attention of children during long periods of time).
